A Winter Wonderland for Autism Funds

Two local groups are coming together to raise funds for Autism Services that run out of the ARCH centre in Burnbank, Hamiton.

A Winter Wonderland evening will take place at the Avonbridge Hotel on Saturday 24th November from 7pm. The event will include party games, a buffet, raffles and a disco.

Between them, ARCH Carer’s and Sail Autism provide groups for people with autism of all ages. There are groups split by age for pre-school, Primary and Secondary children as well as nights for Young Adults and an afternoon coffee group for adults affected by the condition.

Karen Noble, Chair of the ARCH Carer’s Group said, “We are looking forward to a great night to raise funds for the groups we run throughout the year and activities we provide during school holidays.”

Ross Macfadyen, Vice-Chair of Sail Autism, added, “For all the work two groups do to ease life for many families in South Lanarkshire, a lot depends on the money we can raise through the generousity of the wider community. Please come along, have a great evening, and help us fund our activities.”

Tickets for the Winter Wonderland are just £20 (or £180 for a table of 10) and are available from the Avonbridge Hotel on 01698 420525 or via their website: www.avonbridge.co.uk
